Denton Cottier and Daniels presents: A mini-concert and celebration welcoming Dr. William John Newbrough to the Steinway Artist roster.

Join us at 7PM on Wednesday August 6 at our Rochester Location, or Thursday August 7 at our Buffalo location for an evening of music and celebration at Denton Cottier and Daniels. The performance should last about 30 minutes followed by refreshments and a meet and greet. Free of charge, but seating is limited and you must make reservations by calling 716 689 6996 or emailing

Dr. William John Newbrough, Professor of Piano and Director of Piano Studies at Houghton College, holds the Artist Diploma, Doctor of Musical Arts degree, and Master of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, and the Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley. He has studied with Leon Fleisher, Haggai Niv, Gilbert Kalish, and Yoheved Kaplinsky. A veteran performer, Newbrough has won many international and national piano competitions and performed in numerous solo, chamber, and concerto engagements in the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, and Australia. Highlight venues have included Carnegie Recital Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and the Van Cliburn Piano Institute. He has performed multiple times on the acclaimed television series "Grand Piano," and his performances have also been broadcast on radio. As both a sacred and classical pianist, he has performed his own hymn arrangements at churches, colleges, missionary conferences, and charity/ benefit concerts.
